Keeping the cabinets may be practical when their condition, layout and dimensions suit the planned countertop. Existing tops and backsplashes still need to be removed carefully, and the condition of the supporting cabinets and wall surfaces must be assessed.
Decide whether you want a different sink, faucet or appliance arrangement before measurements and ordering. Cutouts, openings, seams and support details depend on the selected products and installation plan.
If the cabinets need substantial changes, review kitchen cabinet replacement first. If you are changing seating or counter locations, plan the kitchen layout and island before selecting the final surface sizes.

Possibly. The cabinets must be suitable for the selected top and the intended layout. We assess their condition and the related removal and installation work before confirming the scope.
No. They can be separate projects, but planning them together helps coordinate finishes, wall transitions and the installation sequence. Existing backsplash removal or repair may still be necessary.
A sink change can be included in the plan. Choose the sink and faucet before final countertop measurements so the openings and related connections can be coordinated.
The installed cost depends on materials, dimensions, fabrication, tile layout, preparation and related work. GTex provides a free estimate for your kitchen rather than a single price that assumes every project is the same.
